Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in volunteering – we are always excited to welcome new volunteers and look forward to working with you or your group.

Our programs are regularly in need of volunteers to participate with our After School Program at our many Austin-area locations. This includes opportunities to assist with activities like tutoring, arts and crafts, sports, and fitness classes, among other things. We are also happy to coordinate with you to customize a group volunteer experience that will allow you to build a volunteer opportunity around your schedule and interest, or bring a particular area of expertise to our Club youth.

Volunteers play a vital role in transforming the lives of our Club Kids. Your time and talent are priceless resources for BGCAA and the work we do every day. As a BGCAA volunteer, you have several ways that you can get involved including:

  • On-Site Engagement (currently paused due to Covid-19)
  • In-Kind Donations
  • Workplace Volunteer Opportunities

How to Volunteer

Please submit the volunteer form below for more information about our various volunteer opportunities to determine which is best suited to your interest. You may also contact our Director of Community Outreach and Partnership Development:

Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age to help within a Club and a minimum commitment of two hours per week for 12 weeks is required.

Note: For planning purposes, groups are asked to contact us at least three (3) weeks in advance if they are interested in a special project. Because of Club schedules and facilities, we are not able to accommodate every group’s request to volunteer. Please be advised that all volunteers will be required to attend a volunteer orientation and undergo a background check.

Office Depot

A big thank you to the Austin Office Depot team for bringing the magic of the holidays to our Clubs. Not only organizing a company-wide toy drive, but the Office Depot team also joined us at Home Club during Club on the Go and delivered the toys to our Club kids, who overjoyed chose their favorite gift from a selection of over 150 toys! We are grateful to the Office Depot team for making a #depotdifference and bringing countless smiles to our kids.
