Join Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area this spring as we kick off our “Everyday Essentials Toiletry Drive,” a community initiative to provide support for local youth and their families who find it difficult to obtain the everyday essentials needed to thrive. Beginning Monday, March 19 and running through Friday, April 13, we will be collecting toiletry and personal hygiene products at these community collection sites:
- BGCAA main office, 5407 N. IH. 35, Suite 402, Austin, TX 78723 (9am – 4pm)
- East Club, 901 Thompson, Austin, TX 78702 (1 – 7pm)
- Old Navy Bee Cave store #5413, 12909 Shops Pkwy, Bee Cave, TX 78738 (business hours)
Requested items: shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, mouth wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss, deodorant, feminine products, face wash, body soap, and single roll toilet paper. Items must be new and in the original packaging.
BGCAA is extremely pleased for participation and support from local businesses including the Old Navy location in Bee Cave (store #5413), which is a participating community collection site. Additionally, the Longhorn Network, Amplify Credit Union, TBA Services Company, Inc. and Texas DPS Credit Union are hosting donation boxes for employee contributions.
