At Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area (BGCAA), we believe strong leadership is essential to creating meaningful opportunities for the youth we serve. That’s why we’re excited to welcome two outstanding professionals to our Board of Directors: Rudy Sengupta and Mike Dunn. Both bring decades of experience, a commitment to community, and a passion for empowering the next generation.
Meet Rudy Sengupta
Rudy Sengupta is a seasoned technology executive with more than 20 years of experience driving innovation and strategy in the software and analytics sector. As Vice President and General Manager of Test and Analytics Software at Emerson, Rudy leads strategic initiatives that help businesses solve complex technical challenges. A proud alumnus of The University of Texas at Austin, where he earned his B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Rudy maintains strong ties to his alma mater through his service on multiple advisory boards for the Cockrell School of Engineering and the Chandra Electrical and Computer Engineering School.
Rudy’s leadership style centers on collaboration, forward-thinking, and results—qualities that align seamlessly with BGCAA’s values. His passion for youth development and STEAM education makes him a powerful advocate for the next generation of innovators.
I’m incredibly honored to join the Board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area. As a parent to two school-aged kids, BGCAA’s mission is deeply personal to me. I believe every child deserves the opportunity to feel seen, supported, and empowered in their academics, leadership, life skills, and well-being. It’s a privilege to be part of an amazing team dedicated to creating safe, inclusive spaces where all kids can thrive and build brighter futures.
Meet Mike Dunn
Mike Dunn, a proud Club alum from Boys & Girls Club of Southern Rensselaer County, rejoins the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area Board of Directors after living abroad in Argentina and Singapore.
Mike brings with him more than 30 years of executive leadership experience at Fortune 50 companies. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of North American Finance and Operations at Dell Technologies, where he leads strategic financial planning, operational excellence, and large-scale business transformation across one of the company’s most critical regions.
Throughout his global career, Mike has held leadership roles across Latin America and Asia, consistently building high-performing teams and delivering results in complex, international markets. He is recognized as a transformative leader and passionate advocate for inclusive, high-growth cultures. Fluent in Spanish, Mike is especially committed to developing diverse leadership pipelines and empowering the next generation of leaders.
Mike’s deep-rooted connection to the Club continues today through the shared passion of his wife, Andrea, and their daughters, Camila (16), Alana (13), and Bibiana (10), who all support and believe in the Club’s mission.
We are grateful to have Rudy and Mike on our team as we continue expanding opportunities for Austin youth. Their leadership, commitment to community, and enthusiasm for our mission will no doubt contribute to our collective success.
