Sean Mills is a native Austinite and graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in Finance and Accounting, he has built a 20+ year career at PlainsCapital Bank. Starting as a credit analyst in 2003, he now serves as President of PlainsCapital’s Westlake Bank. He and his wife, Lee, have two boys, ages 9 and 11, and he remains actively engaged in the Austin community.

His service includes over a decade on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area, coaching more than 25 of his sons’ youth sports teams, and serving on the Westlake Chaps Pop Warner Board. He also holds leadership roles in several other community and business organizations.
