Welcoming Four New Members to Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area Board of Directors

At Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area (BGCAA), strong leadership drives meaningful opportunities for the youth we serve. We are thrilled to welcome four new members to our Board of Directors, each bringing unique expertise and a shared commitment to supporting Austin’s young people.

Meet Liz Gilman

Jackson Walker

Liz has more than 12 years of experience in legal recruiting and strategic talent development. She brings her expertise in relationship-building and growth to BGCAA, helping create pathways for youth to develop skills, leadership, and confidence.

I’m honored to serve on the board of the Boys and Girls Club of the Austin Area because I believe deeply in opportunity. Supporting young people as they discover their potential and build brighter futures is one of the most meaningful ways we can invest in our community.”

Meet Matt DeLorenzo

Accenture

Matt leads innovative solutions for the Communications, Media & Technology sector. With extensive experience in strategic leadership and client engagement, he is eager to leverage his skills to ensure every child has a safe space to learn, grow, and dream big. 

“As someone deeply committed to creating opportunities for youth, I’m honored to support the Boys & Girls Club of Austin. Their mission resonates with my belief that every child deserves a safe space to grow, learn, and dream big. I’m excited to bring my experience and energy to help advance that mission in our community.”

Meet Renae Alsobrook

Ranahaus

Renae has extensive experience in product strategy, business operations, and marketing, having grown multiple organizations successfully. Her passion for community wellbeing and family support aligns with BGCAA’s mission to empower youth and strengthen Austin families. 

“I’m thrilled to join with the BGCAA’s mission, because I believe passionately that every child deserves the resources and support that allow them to reach their full potential, and moreover that the wellbeing of our community relies on the wellbeing of our families.” 

Meet Michael Grimes

Imperium Public Affairs (IPA)

Founding Partner of IPA, Michael specializes in strategic communications and stakeholder engagement, with a career spanning government, public affairs, and political consulting. His experience in navigating complex systems and building community partnerships positions him to help expand opportunities and support for BGCAA youth.
