BGCAA Awarded RecognizeGood Ethics in Business Award for Nonprofits

May 28, 2019 | Past Stories

Each year RecognizeGood honors businesses, individuals and nonprofits that are committed to and exemplify ethical practices. Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area (BGCAA) is grateful and humbled to be honored as the 2019 winner of the Ethics in Business Award for nonprofits.

As stated on their website, RecognizeGood outlines the objective of the Ethics in Business Award:

OUR GOAL: WE ILLUMINATE those businesses, individuals and nonprofits who believe that doing GOOD is good business, and maintain our level playing field in the Central Texas business community by exemplifying ethical practices.

During the RecognizeGood Awards Luncheon held in May 2019, BGCAA CEO Misti Potter accepted the honor (and snazzy plaque to commemorate it) on behalf of the organization, along side a stage full of colleagues who help to daily ensure that BGCAA is holding itself to the highest standards of ethical practices.

BGCAA is joined by an incredible roster of individuals and organizations in the Austin area that hold ethics central to their daily practices. Congratulations to all winners and nominees!
