Austin, Texas – July, 2026 – Through a partnership with Regal, Boys & Girls Clubs of America is offering clubs across the country an exciting chance to participate in the 2026 Summer Movie Express program. This initiative is designed to help children avoid summer learning setbacks and escape the oppressive summer heat by engaging in fun learning activities related to their favorite movies.
As moviegoers continue to fill theaters for the summer, Regal is committed to giving children the joy of watching movies in person, allowing them to fully dive into the cinematic experience. These grants facilitate transportation to and from movie theatres, purchase discounted tickets, include entertaining educational activities, and ensure Club members have access to concessions.
“At Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area, we believe every young person deserves opportunities to learn, explore, and simply enjoy being a kid,” said Dr. LaTasha Carter, Chief Programs Officer at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area. “Thanks to Regal’s generosity, our Club members can experience the magic of the movies together while building friendships, expanding their imaginations, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Experiences like these help inspire curiosity, strengthen connections, and remind our youth that their community is invested in their success.”
