Andy Brock is the CEO of the South Region for J.P. Morgan Private Bank, leading a team of over 400 professionals who oversee more than $157B in client assets. In addition, Andy is a member of the Global Private Bank Operating Committee and Chair of the J.P. Morgan Chase Market Leadership Team for Central Texas. Prior to his current role, Andy led the J.P. Morgan Private Bank offices in Austin & San Antonio for five years.
Andy has spent much of his career managing wealth for successful individuals, families, family offices and nonprofits. With more than 20 years of financial services experience, he offers a deep well of knowledge to address the complex personal and business challenges that his clients often face. He has a remarkable talent for uncovering clients’ true ambitions for their wealth and translating their goals into comprehensive and impactful wealth plans. Andy draws upon the best of J.P. Morgan’s global offerings and applies them locally, aiming to deliver effective long-term strategies tailored to the specific needs of each client.
Andy joined J.P. Morgan in 2012 in the London office where he was a Senior Banker and member of the leadership team that defined and implemented the Private Bank’s UK business strategy. Previously, he had launched Bernstein Global Wealth Management’s London client practice. He began his career at State Street Research & Management in Boston.
Though a global citizen, Andy credits his East Coast upbringing and liberal arts education for his active listening, comprehension, and analytical skills. He grew up in New Hampshire and earned a B.A. in Economics and Rhetoric from Bates College in Maine. Along with his wife and three children, he joined the Austin community in 2019. Andy has integrated well to the Texas lifestyle and developed a deep appreciation for the rich culture and dynamics of Austin. An active participant in the local community, Andy is an active board member of the Boys & Girls Club of Austin and board member of Opportunity Austin.
