She began her career in Bastrop ISD, spending 10 years shaping young minds and developing transformative programs. In 2020, she played a key role in launching Liberty STEAM Charter School in South Carolina, leading fundraising, community partnerships, and family engagement while securing federal grants to expand educational opportunities for underserved students. She continued her impact in 2023 as Chief Development Officer at San Antonio Preparatory Charter School, where she worked to close financial gaps and strengthen community advocacy in a high-need area.

Most recently, Latasha served as Managing Director of Big Medium, an Austin-based arts nonprofit dedicated to supporting artists through exhibitions, community programs, and statewide initiatives. She holds a bachelor’s in psychology, a master’s in public administration, and a doctorate in educational leadership. A champion for equity, innovation, and opportunity, she remains committed to driving meaningful change in education and the nonprofit sector.
