Clarissa Davila

Chief Marketing and Communications Officer

Clarissa brings over 15 years of experience in education to the BGCAA team. Her journey in education began as a Spanish, Debate, and Speech teacher. With her communications degree from St. Edward’s University, she refocused her career and became a communications and outreach coordinator at the school network where she taught. In this role, she highlighted the impactful stories of staff and students while fostering community partnerships and school programming.

Clarissa has also been a grassroots advocacy leader, equipping students, parents, and school staff with the skills to confidently share their stories at the Texas State Capitol and empowering them to engage in meaningful advocacy.

As Regional Communications and Marketing Director at Harmony Public Schools – Central Texas, she led internal and external communications, marketing, and media relations. She later served as Internal Communications Director at KIPP Texas Public Schools, where she supported family and staff communications across the network’s four Texas regions—Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas.

She is excited to bring her passion for storytelling and education to Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area, where she strives to highlight the Club’s profound impact on youth and the community through compelling narratives and advocacy efforts.
