AUSTIN, TEXAS (Sept. 5, 2018) — FORE the kids! Golf enthusiasts of all levels are invited to bring out their clubs to support great futures for local youth during the Club Classic at TopGolf Austin benefitting Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area (BGCAA). Combining fun and fundraising, the annual event will be held Wednesday, Sept. 12, from 6:30-9:00 p.m. at TopGolf Austin at 2700 Esperanza Crossing. This presenting sponsor for this year’s event is American Campus Communities.
The Club Classic at TopGolf Austin invites golfers to contribute their ace or amateur skills for an evening of friendly competition and camaraderie—raising dollars through individual event tickets, group packages, a luxury raffle for a customized golf cart and a silent auction. All funds raised will help BGCAA expand opportunities to provide quality out-of-school-time programming that serves over 7,500 registered youth annually across 33 Austin-area locations, including academic, STEM and digital literacy curriculum, healthy living guidance, and programs to develop leadership, good character and citizenship in kids and teens ages 6-18.
In addition to enjoying all that TopGolf Austin’s state-of-the-art facilities have to offer, guests can look forward to small bites, cocktails and music as they play the night away.
2018 Club Classic at TopGolf Austin Evening Program:
- 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. – Check-In
- 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. – Tournament Play
- 8:30 to 9:00 p.m. – Awards, Raffle & Auction Winners Announcement, Check Presentation
The program will culminate in a recognition event for the evening’s top players, and raffle and auction winners. The evening recognitions will also include a check presentation by leadership from American Constructors, which just announced a generous $40,000 contribution to BGCAA FORE! the kids—joining American Campus Communities, various local companies and countless individuals in giving and golfing for great futures during The Club Classic.
